T’is the Season, The White House is getting ready for Christmas and you’re invited to join in the fun!
Continuing the tradition of including volunteers in White House Christmas celebrations, President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania welcome American citizens from all 50 States to apply to be part of a bedazzling holiday team. If selected to be one of Santa’s White House helpers you’ll be decking the Halls in and around the People’s House.
Applications to be a holiday decorator or performer are open Now-Friday August 28th, 2026 at 5:00PM ET. Selected applicants will be notified via e-mail by Friday October 2, 2026.
Volunteers interested in decorating the White House must be at least 18 years old. Applicants should apply individually. Group requests won’t be considered.
Monday November 23rd through Sunday November 29th are the designated dates to decorate.
Performers and musical groups including school bands, choirs and holiday-themed entertainers are also encouraged to apply to join the very special privilege. Performing at White House Open-Houses is an opportunity to showcase the talents of all ages.
