Presidential pets have been companions and confidants to our nation’s leaders, often with a front-row seat to history.
For the first time the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum team is throwing a party just for the furry and feathered friends who once called the White House home.
Saturday September 27th from 11a.m.- 3 p.m the Museum is hosting a Presidential Pets Party.
Families can enjoy hands-on, pet-themed activities; including a pet personality quiz, animal mask-making with local artists and a White House Pets’ photo recreation station.

Company2Heros will provide a special service dog demonstration, and weather permitting offer a puppy therapy session where guests can meet and handle future service dogs just starting their training.
The Animal Rescue League of Boston will also be at the Presidential Library sharing information about pet adoption and other ways visitors can support animal wellness.
A very special pet-themed ice cream bar will have sundaes for $5.00.
All activités are free with paid admission.
Kids 17 and under are always free.
Adults 18-61 $20.00
Seniors 62 & up $16.00
The JFK invites everyone to join the PAW-PARTY Saturday to celebrate pets and their place in the White House and our hearts.
Adaptive activités and a Flexible Calming Space will be available for anyone who needs a break at any time. This is an inclusive program and people with or without disabilities are always welcome.
*Only Service Pets are allowed at this party.
