Every inch of this Mead, McKim and White compound is worthy of it’s status as a National Landmark. Built in 1880 it’s considered one of the finest examples of American Shingle style design. Within each period room and modern gallery are appointments that speak volumes about the sport’s values.

The ITHOF mixes old-school elegance with state-of-the-art innovations. It pays homage to tennis with vintage art, racquet-relics and fashion statements that articulate the tone of their times.

This HOF marries past glories with today’s-tech. A virtually immersive experience places guests in the same room with former world ranked No.1 player, Roger Federer. Another tech-y update is racquet-row. The hands-on-feature serves guests audio-highlights of tennis legends.

This special place tells stories of tennis greats strung together with humanity. What becomes clear to visitors of this tennis cathedral is that each exhibit preserves a chapter in this sport’s evolving history of individuality and inclusivity.

New generations of players will see and hear about bonds built on courts that transcend time and place. The all-court principles of discipline are rewards of the game that plays-out in life.  Visitors will see trophies of the greatest contests, their patina glows with legends written around the world.
