This 4th of July worthy mojito sparkles on a hot day or by fireworks!

It’s as simple to make as 1,2, 3 and because it’s bursting with summertime fresh strawberries and a splash of bubbly it’s just as delightful served as a mocktail as it is a cocktail.

The splashy mix begins by muddling fresh mint with a large wedge of lime  (add a shot of white rum here if making the drink with alcohol)

Step 2 adds strawberry pureé or a few sliced berries to the muddle

The 3rd and final step is as controversial as American’s political landscape. At this point most mojito recipes call for adding a splash of simple syrup… however “SHE” prefers to finish this drink with a mini-can of Sprite. The twist of lemon-lime and bubbles adds and unexpected burst of  4th of July Sparkle to the holiday ~ just like those fabulous fireworks!
