Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy, leader of the Democratic Party’s Woman Governors Fund, (that seeks to put more women in statewide executive office,) chats with Boston Mayor Wu and Ed Freni, Interim Chief Executive Officer, Director of Aviation at Massachusetts Port Authority while waiting for Air Force One to land at Logan International Airport.

Under an ominous sky, President Biden arrived in Boston for a whirlwind trip of the city.

He spoke briefly at the Westin Hotel, followed by a reception at the Weston home of Alan and Susan Solomont. Alan Solomont is the former ambassador to Spain and Andora.

At the end of the reception he said ” If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running. But we can’t let him win.”

The third stop on the quick tour of Boston was in the heart of the city, at the Shubert Theater on historic Tremont Street. Tremont, is famously known as the site frequented by abolitionists, suffragists, and other activists eager to address social reform.

After a concert performed by septuagenarian James Taylor the President left Boston at 7:36 PM headed back to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

As the Presidential motorcade left Tremont Street demonstrators could be seen waving Palestinian flags.
