It’s ‘Honey-Deuce’ Season ~ Jello Shot Edition

In tennis circles this is known as the ‘middle-weekend’ of the U.S.Open, the final major event of the pro tour. It’s when stars and Hall of Famer’s begin to show-up for the GAMES.

Unlike Wimbledon’s proper Pimm’s, New York’s court-side vibe is flashy and trashy with a delish style of it’s own.  Like all great LOVE stories, this one deserved a signature-cocktail to match the pace of this major event. And so the addictive ‘honey-deuce’ is poured, early and often.

There’s a reason this mix is one of the stars of the season~it’s just soooo good.

If you can’t bounce into Gotham City for the weekend watching from home is a dupe worthy of New York city street culture. It’s the next best thing to being there. AND… if you’re into NYC style street-dupes why not try a Honey-Deuce jello-shot.

They’re an easy alternative to the Hall of Famer gamer found around every court in Flushing.

The crowd sized recipe is simple:

Dissolve 2 packages of lemon jello, in 1 cup of near boiling lemonade,

Add 1/2 cup of chilled Tito’s (vodka0

& an equal amount of Chambord ( any raspberry liquor)

Pour the mix into mini containers to chill until SET.

In a few hours MATCH the jiggle with honeydew melon balls and a raspberry if you have them
